About SWM

I'm so glad that you were able to drop in and visit my website. I pray that you will sense the presence of the Lord as you view each and every page.

I count it an honor that God would trust me to establish Sure Word Ministries, Inc. for His glory. The Lord dropped the name "Sure Word Ministries" into my spirit a few years after my salvation experience. I quietly tucked the name away, awaiting the fullness of time for the ministry to be birthed. In February 2003, the Lord began stirring on the inside of me to get Sure Word Ministries incorporated. As I diligently sought the Lord and received counsel from others who are established in ministry, I took a new step of faith and SWM became a reality in March of 2003.

2 Peter 1:19 - We have also a more sure word of prophecy, whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the daystar arise in your hearts.

I am 61 years "young" and love Jesus with all my heart. I was saved in 1978 and filled with Holy Spirit in 1980. Prior to my salvation experience, I was an alcoholic, a drug user, fornicator, and the list could go on and on. My life was in shambles, but Jesus reached his nail scarred hand down into that pit of miry clay, pulled me out and set my feet upon a Rock and put new songs of praise in my mouth. What a total transformation of the miracle working power of God!

I began part-time ministry in 1986. I led praise and worship at a small church for almost eight years. One thing lead to another as the Holy Spirit began to direct my life in new ways. I started teaching Sunday School, doing concerts, preaching, and finally the Lord began to place full-time ministry in my heart. "He called" me into the ministry. I didn't call myself. I didn't want to be a preacher, but God had His own plan. His ways are so much higher than our ways. So, for those of you who don't like women preachers, you'll have to talk to Jesus about this issue. :-)

I worked a full-time secular job for almost 21 years and ministered part-time for Jesus. Those years seemed to be some of the hardest years of my life as God was preparing me for His work. I allowed Him to take me through the long process of Wilderness Training 101, 102, 103, 104 etc, even though it was a very discouraging and painful time. The process is usually a painful one, but very necessary. I didn't realize it so much then, but today, as I look back over those lonely years in the wilderness, I thank God for all that He was able to accomplish in my life. If it hadn't been for those years, I would not be the woman of God that I am today. The "process" is so vital for our future.

In February 1994, the Lord directed me to move to Litchfield, IL to work full-time at LRM Missions, a missionary organization founded and directed by Sister Gwen Davis. Volunteered and worked here until May of 2003.  I moved off the LRM campus in May of 2003 to help take care of my parents and to establish Sure Word Ministries, Inc.

At the present time, I am still connected with LRM Missions as a part-time computer consultant, etc. I am also the Assistant Pastor at All Nations Worship Center located in Litchfield, IL. Sister Gwen Davis is the Senior Pastor of this church. I am also ordained through LRM Missions.

I also travel and minister in the U.S.A. and various nations around the world. I have ministered in Barbados, France, Guatemala, India, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, Russia, Spain, Uganda, and Ukraine. Everywhere I go, the people are so precious.

As a psalmist (songwriter), I have enjoyed playing guitar and writing new songs. Holy Spirit has given me many choruses and songs to sing for His glory. These songs have been such a blessing to me personally. I thank God that He provided a way for me to produce four music albums and one songbook.

I have an Associate Degree of Christian Studies and a Bachelor's Degree of Church Ministry. I have studied with Berean School of the Bible in Springfield, Missouri; Sure Foundation Theological Institute in Seminole, Florida; Celebration Bible College in Ontario, Canada; and the Online Bible College, in Australia.

Sure Word Ministries started broadcasting a weekly shortwave radio broadcast on June 6, 2004 to over 38 European Nations. The programs also aired on nine stations in the USA including KJSL in St Louis, MO. After doing radio ministry for over six years, I decided to lay it down (as instructed by the Lord) and allow that season to end. The last program aired on September 14th, 2010.

I realize that I am nothing without Christ. He really does choose the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. I wouldn't have chosen myself, but He chose me. My heart's desire is to be a blessing to the body of Christ by preaching and teaching the truth of God's holy word. I also want to see the people of God obey the Lord and move into the fullness of what He has called them to do in this life.  Time is short.  We really need to be about the Father's business.

God has great plans for His Church. We must continue in the faith and press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus knowing that in the end - we win!

As of December 31st, 2016, Sure Word Ministries will be dissolved.  This ministry will be laid to rest after almost 14 years of wonderful ministry times.  BUT, the GOOD NEWS is this, I will continue to minister as usual.  I will still travel and minister just like I have always done.  :-)  The only thing that's changing is the name.  So I'm still around, still kicking, still preaching God's word wherever they will have me preach.  :-)   So I'm very excited about this new season!!!!  God is so good.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

God Bless You,
