As I was seeking the Lord for insights regarding the coming year, I heard the word "compromise" over and over again in my spirit.

The Lord says, "There has been much compromise in my people this year (2005) and I desire that they stop compromising and return back to Me. Many are being led astray by seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, not even realizing what is happening to them. My body has compromised over and over again with the ways of the world and worldly pleasures. They have chosen to partake of that which is not holy, but defiled. I am once again calling them to repentance and calling them to live holy lives before Me, says the Lord. For the day in which we live is an evil day and I have called My people to come out from among that which is evil and unholy. I have called My people to be a holy people, a consecrated peop! le, a people who will serve Me with their whole heart and not allow themselves to be deceived and drawn into that which is worldly and unprofitable for them. I have not called them to partake of that which is of the world, but I have called them to Myself. I have called them to be holy even as I am holy, says the Lord. Those who will walk in My ways and seek My face will be filled with My glory and I will give them instruction for this day and for this hour, says the Lord. I will give them counsel as they seek My face and desire to know and do My will."

"Many of My chosen vessels have wasted so much time doing things that I have not called them to do. Many have chosen to look upon that which is evil with their natural eyes, that which is abominable to Me, says the Lord. Many have chosen to listen to that which is not pleasing to Me, they have given their ears over to worldly lusts and pleasures and will reap the consequences of their sinful actions, says the Lord."

"Do you not yet know that you belong to me, says the Lord? Do you not yet understand that what you do, what you hear, what you look upon will have an affect upon your lives and ministries? Do you not yet understand that you are living in the end-times and the time of My return is drawing near? Why do you still continue to go your own way and do your own thing? Why do you continue to compromise and do those things that are not pleasing to Me? Do you not yet understand that these are serious times and that I have called you unto Myself for My purpose?"

"I have much that I desire to reveal to My people in this day and in this hour, says the Lord, but you must position yourself before Me and allow Me to root out, pluck up and pull down that which is not of Me within you. For I shall do a deep work in those who will position themselves before Me and allow Me to do that ! which is needed within them. For My purposes for you are so much greater than what you are currently seeing and understanding."

"Line up with My will, says the Lord, for their is much that I desire to do in you and through you. Line up with what I have called you to do in this life and stop compromising and doing those things which are not pleasing in My sight. Allow me to cut off that which is worldly. Allow My desires to come forth in you and through you, says the Lord. For My ways and My desires will bring forth LIFE. That which is of the world, that which is worldly will bring forth death."

"My body must choose life. My people must make choices that will produce life in them and in those around them. CHOOSE LIFE, says the Lord. For I desire that you have LIFE and that you have abundant life flowing in and through you. The world is full of death and destruction, says the Lord, and they do not need more death. They need life. My people must allow My Spirit, My Life to flow in and through them so that the world may come to know Me."

"There is much deception within my body, says the Lord, and I desire to root it out by the power of My Spirit. But many who are deceived do not even realize it and therefore do not seek deliverance. But I shall come to all those who will position themselves before Me, says the Lord, and I will do a great work in them."

"For when you seek Me, you seek truth, for I am Truth, says the Lord, and I will reveal Myself to all those who seek Me with their whole heart and for all those who desire to be transformed by My power. I will come to them, says the Lord, and I will change them."

"This is a day of great change for many, says the Lord, for many are drawing closer and closer to Me and My Presence. Many are becoming more and more discontented with that which does not produce life and this is drawing them closer and closer to Me and My Presence, says the Lord. For I am LIFE and I give My Life to those who come to Me. I desire to pour Myself into those who seek My face and desire to know Me. I say to you this day, choose life. Come out of that which has been producing death in you. Come out of that which has defiled your temple and return unto Me, says the Lord. For this is a day of great change and new beginnings for many in My body, says the Lord. Hear what I'm saying this day and respond to the call, says the Lord."

Insights: I believe God is going to do a deep work in those who will submit to the moving and working of His Spirit in their lives. We must allow the Lord to do this work in us, because it is preparation for that which is to come.

I also believe it's time for the people of God to make and take time to seek His divine counsel. This involves waiting upon the Lord, spending time basking in His presence, listening and seeing with spiritual eyes and ears. This involves waiting on God for as long as it takes to get understanding of what His will is in any given situation. It involves an emptying of ourselves so that He can fill us with Himself. There's still too much of "us" in us. We need more of Jesus in our lives. The more time we spend with Him, soaking and basking in His presence, the more we will get to know Him. We must learn how to quiet our minds and be silent in His presence so we can hear what He is saying.

There have been so many times when I have gone to my prayer room to be with Jesus only to find my mind is still working overtime on all the hundreds of projects that remain unfinished on my desk. The real battle is in the mind. We will not be able to enter that place of rest and hearing God until we are able to quiet our minds. This is very important.

I spent several hours in my prayer room the other day just trying to quiet my mind so that I could totally focus on the Lord. After four hours of pressing in to God in prayer and commanding distractions to go from my mind, the breakthrough finally came and I was then able to sit in God's holy presence and receive of Him.

Spending time with God does not always come easy, but we must learn how to press in and press through all the distractions so that we can hear and see what God is saying. The devil doesn't want us to spend time with God. He wants us to be distracted and he wants us to grow weary in well doing. You must be willing to fight for this quality time with God, because there will be much resistance coming from every direction. The enemy doesn't want you to spend time with God because if you spend time with God, God will speak to you and He will reveal Himself to you. When you do what God has told you to do, He will release His power in you and through you to help you accomplish His will. The enemy doesn't want this to happen. So, the reality of it all is that you must learn how to press through all that's going on in the natural real! m so that you can enter into the realm of the supernatural where God can reveal Himself to you.

I believe the body of Christ must learn how to enter into this place IN HIM. We must learn how to quiet our minds and enter that place of rest in the Lord. It's in this place that we are strengthened for that which He has called us to do. It's in this place that He gives us His divine counsel and instruction.

God has great plans for you dear friend. Position yourself in 2006 to hear from God. Position yourself in 2006 to see with spiritual eyes that which He desires to reveal to you by His Spirit. Position yourself to walk in His ways and stop compromising with those things that keep you from growing and living a holy life before Him. Position yourself in 2006 for change. God wants to change you. He wants to totally set you free from everything that still has you bound. He wants to release His glory and His power in your life so that you can be changed and transformed in His presence. Are you willing to do what God is asking you to do? If so, 2006 will be an awesome year for you.

A Word for the Hurting

As I was praying, I heard the Lord say that many of you reading this newsletter have deep wounds and hurts in your lives from things that have happened to you and from words that have been spoken over you.

I heard the Lord say, "If you will come before Me and give those hurts and wounds to Me, I will heal you. For some of the wounds within you are deep and I so desire to do a deep work on the inside of you and heal you by My Spirit, says the Lord. Trust Me to do it. Allow Me to remove the doubt, the fear and all the unbelief that so consumes you, for these things are not of Me, says the Lord. As you give yourself to Me, you will see that I am good and that I only desire to give you good and perfect gifts. For I love you, says the Lord, and I desire that you will also love Me and allow Me to heal and deliver you from all these hurts and wounds. For you are precious in My sight, says the Lord."
